It Keeps Rolling On

Another impressive showing by the Kniggets, as they down Pitt in Pittsburgh 20-10 and move up in the polls to #16 in the country. Our speedy sophomore Ray Rice runs for 255 yards (4th time this season he has rushed for over 200 yards in a game). Next game is home against UConn on Sunday night @ 8pm on ESPN.

Rutgers is now ranked ahead of schools such as Penn State, Wisconsin, FSU, Miami, Boston College, Virginia Tech & Georgia... RU Rah Rah!

Zooland Creatures

With the parental units in town over the weekend, we ventured to our local Jax Zoo where Katelyn was able to connect with the tall ones...
And the small ones...

Nice to see the TBG's (Jay's) winter coat is coming in nicely...

Peace out.

Coo Coo Ca Choo... RU @ 6-0!

Wow. RU is now 6-0. Wow. The Kniggets with a convincing victory over Navy by a score of 34-0. Wow. Bowl eligible. Wow. Earliest bowl eligible in school history. Wow. I'm playing the lottery immediately. Wow.

An RU Point in Time...

RU fans should be declaring a holiday this week as the "Kniggets" are ranked ahead of FSU, Miami, Penn State (what's a Nittany?), Boston College, Pitt,... to name a few. As one confused FSU fan fired off "We'll see where things shake out at the end of the season!", I simply grinned and offered "Who cares! RU is ranked ahead of your law-breaking, sports management majored, can't talk in complete sentences, mouth-running football team!" Good times RU fans, eat it up!

I actually had a colleague approach me and ask why I haven't been taunting RU's success around the office... you've got to be kidding! RU fans don't know how to react to a ranked winning football program, so the best we can do is garnish our red clothing, drink red beer and sing some RU Rah Rah!

Yo Yo Yo... We're 5-0!

Rutgers (#23/24) held on to advance to 5-0 on Friday in Tampa beating a good USF football team, who were bowl winners last year. Enjoy it now RU fans, cause after the upcoming bye week, the Knights travel to MD to face Navy who had an impressive win against UConn.
